Arun Agarwal is Mastek’s Global Chief Financial Officer. Before assuming this position, he was the Global Controller and Vice President (Finance) at Mastek for over four years. He is responsible for end-to-end financial functions, including financial planning and analysis, business finance, pricing, accounting and reporting, global taxation, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations.

In his career of over 19 years, Arun has held leadership positions at First Source (General Manager, Finance), GE (Assistant Controller, Finance), Synovate (Senior Manager, Finance), Wipro Technologies (Finance Manager) and Tata Motors (Senior Executive).

He has closed strategic deals worth over GBP 100 million in annual revenue, raised funds amounting to USD 10 million in the UK market and led a customer management vertical with an annual turnover of USD 300 million. Arun has also driven mergers and acquisitions for companies. He has been responsible for financial integration, led the financial reporting of entities listed in India and the US, Ind-AS transition and IFRS financial compliance of companies.

Arun is a Chartered Accountant who secured 29th rank in the CA foundation course. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce with honours from the University of Calcutta in 2002. He has also cleared two levels of CFA.
